La Luna Short Animation – Directed by Enrico Casarosa

If you’ve watched Brave you’ll recognize this short animation by Disney Pixar. La Luna was directed by Enrico Casarosa and had a short premier on the 6th of June 2011. It’s amazing the amount of time it takes for a short animation (full one) to hit the screens if you keep into account that Brave was released on November 13th 2012.

La Luna was nominated, at the 84th Academy Awards, for Best Animated Short Film. The story of a child with his father and grandfather was inspired by Casaro’s own experiences with family. Enjoy the Short animation and buy Brave (if you don’t have it yet!) to see the full short.
