We saw this in Cape Town the other day, didn’t know what the heck it was till we read this article! Awesome form of creativity, wish i could see it in action heh
Dont agree with the numbers? Then send us your countries official animation body’s contact information and we’ll go digging. We’ve found that Asia,China,Japan might not use Linkedin so help us find an accurate source please! Stay Awesome!
Thank you Sheldon! Appreciate the advice 🙂
Thank you Anje! Glad we could help 🙂
From the discussions it seems that they dont really use LinkedIn as a Job profile, so I guess thats why the number is so small 🙂
We appreciate it Oliver and thanks for dropping in! The data is purely from LinkedIn so although I dont believe its 100% accurate it’s just whats being listed on a large business profile platform. Open to any sources 😀
Thank you for the list, we’ll update it soon!
Nigeria added!Thanks Nwobodo!
Thank you for the heads up Michael, we’ve added you awesome folk to the map and added your name as a thanks as well 😉 Stay awesome!

Hi Fred! We’ve updated the numbers for France, thanks for the heads up! We’ve also contacted Japan’s Animators board to ask for correct numbers. Plus we added your name in the map as thanks 🙂
Hi Toto, can you give us an idea what title to search for? Is there a specific word they use for animator in Argentina which we can use to update the stats? *We’ve contact the Japan board and asked for numbers 😉
Hi Toto! Thanks for dropping in 🙂 On a global scale it was the best data source we could find. Were in the process of contacting a few animation groups to see if we can get accurate results for Japan and Argentina (since those are only stats from LinkedIn). Let us know if you have any people we can contact!Stay awesome!
Hi Peter, so I’ve updated France (thanks for the heads up) but would like to know if you can give a suggestion for a better title keyword I should search for that’s specific to the animation industry in the Netherlands?
Hi Peter!Glad you could drop in to have a look 🙂 Definitely a fun way to create an idea of what the data could be but in a global scale it was a tough one. If you have anyone we can contact for 100% accurate results let us know 🙂 we’re already mailing a few animation groups for different countries. Thanks for the info and Stay awesome!
Hi Sikura! We’ve made some updates and added Iran, please come have a look and let us know what you think 🙂
Hi Sikura! Thanks for visiting 🙂 We’ll add the data as soon as our developer comes back.We started with a few countries but as people ask about theirs we add it as soon as we get the numbers. If Iran has an Animation group we can contact please let us know and we’ll drop them an email 🙂 Stay awesome!

Hi Nanda!Peter mentioned the same thing and we’re looking into it 🙂 thank you for visiting and the advice!Stay awesome!
Hi James, thanks for visiting! For this exercise the person had to have the word “animator” in their title on LinkedIn . Although not the best way to get 100% accuracy for the numbers it was the best way of coming close. If you have accurate numbers or someone we can contact then please let us know and we’ll update 🙂 Stay awesome!
Hi Fred!Thank you for the interesting feedback and links! The filter was just “Animator” in Job Title and “Current” (Not Current and Past). We agree, the stats are definitely not 100% but on a Global scale its the best we could find 🙂 We’ve already been given a few emails to mail to get precise numbers…so interesting! Thanks for commenting 🙂

Definitely agree with that statement, I’ve seen templates make or break a site. Are there any specific steps you take to pick the perfect one Ashok?
It certainly is, its free on steam, be sure to grab it when you have some free time!
Design can literally be anything, its what you specialize in at the end of the day that counts. There are universal principals that can be applied to all forms of design and once you understand those it’s just a case of finding the design that suites you best. You can become a web designer or even a book/game illustrator or concept artist after studying Graphic Design. It depends on where you want to be in a few years, so start collecting work of people who inspire you and find out in what career path they are investing in.
Also…we added the picture because we really liked it =D
